William and Ruth Defibaugh
The William and Ruth Defibaugh Christian Education Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Pastors William and Ruth Defibaugh, who were the founding pastors of Bedford County Christian Church, now One Community Christian Church. William and Ruth met in bible college where they began a lifetime of ministry together. Ruth was the daughter of an immigrant family from Eastern Europe and was able to attend Bible College through the generosity of a scholarship by her church. Through their ministry, many lives have been changed and many other ministries were started. This fund will support the education of future Christian leaders, reflecting their dedication and service for our community.
